I have an Epcot FP+ for Frozen Ever After and no other FP reservation. Once I use that, can I make one for Soaring if there are any available? I can't make it now because I am only allowed 1 FP+ from Category 1

Hi, Jim! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for bringing us a very interesting question.

Currently, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios employ a FastPass+ tier system. When visiting either of these parks, Guests may choose one experience from Tier 1, and two experiences from Tier 2. You are welcome to only make one Tier 1 FastPass+, or to likewise only make your two Tier 2 FastPass+ selections. However, at this time, Guests are not able to redeem their single Tier 1 FastPass+ choice and then immediately make another Tier 1 selection. The FastPass+ system will restrict the Guest from creating another Tier 1 selection until either two Tier 2 selections have been redeemed or their window of use has expired.

The good news for you is that you have successfully scored a Frozen Ever After FastPass+! That is awesome! I want to caution you to not just Let It Go. Okay, I had to go there. I have a tip for you that I successfully put into practice this past week. Arrive at Epcot's entrance before the park opens for the day. Once it opens, head straight for The Land Pavilion and you could find a fairly decent wait to ride Soarin'. This past week, we arrived about 30 minutes before the park opened and were amazed at the amount of people that were waiting to enter the park. However, the majority of them must have been headed to Build a Snowman (I went there again) because we ended up being in the first group of Soarin' riders of the day! For the First Time in Forever (I'll stop now), we were Row B1, reporting for takeoff!

I hope this tip helps you make the most of your day In Summer (oops) at Epcot, Jim. Feel free to stop by anytime you have a question. We love to help Guests with their Fixer Upper plans ... fine, I'll Let It Go now ...
