We will be in Epcot for my daughters 21st birthday. Are there any special park extras available to help celebrate? What about the other parks?

    Hi Greg,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am sending your daughter magical birthday wishes!

We always celebrate a birthday while on vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! We start with picking up celebratory buttons at the front desk of our resort hotel. Then we wear those buttons around the theme parks. Cast members are good with acknowledging the birthday when they see the buttons. We also make a note of the birthday celebration on all of our dining reservations. At many of our table-service meals, including Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at Epcot, we have received special mini-birthday cupcakes or cards signed by characters. And, finally, we have been able to get some great window tables when dining for a birthday celebration, so be sure to ask when you get to a restaurant. California Grill and 'Ohana are restaurants that have terrific views of Magic Kingdom. There are, of course, other ways that you can plan a little extra magic for her:

Greg, what a special birthday to celebrate. The best present - just being able to celebrate together!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
