Can I enter the park before I check in to the resort if I bought a package? Will I be able to use the ticket? Or do I have to wait till my check in time?

    Susan,

    Thank you for your question!

On your arrival day you can enter a park whenever you wish, even if the resort's official check in time has not yet come. You don't have to have a room ready to move in to, either.

I have often taken early morning flights that get me to my resort, via Disney's Magical Express, as early as 10:00 am in the morning. Clearly I was there well before the official check in time, and well before my room was ready. But with my Disney vacation package I just headed off to a fun day at the parks.

You really should consider using the Online Check-In procedures for your resort stay. This lets you get all the necessary steps of check in done from home, days before you arrive. There are so many reasons to do this, but the best of these is that it speeds things along on that first day. With this done, you can just go straight to your room after your day in the parks, rather than have to go to the front desk. They can even text you when your room is ready, including sending you the room number.

Write us back if you have any more questions!
