Can you enter California Adventure Land in morning when park opens, reserve your FASTPASS times thru MaxPass on your phone, then leave the park entirely with the intention of returning later in the afternoon and still keep your FASTPASS times?

    Hi Joanne!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. When my family travels to The Happiest Place on Earth we have a toddler in tow so midday breaks are an absolute must for us!

You are correct that you will need to scan entry into a park to begin utilizing Disney MaxPass from your smart device. Please note that everyone that you want to reserve a FASTPASS for will need to scan entry and you can't just send one individual to run this errand! After you have entered either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, you'll be able to begin making your reservations through the Disneyland Mobile App. After you have made your FASTPASS selections you are free to go about your day as you please and your FASTPASS selection will not be affected. As many Guests reserve evening FASTPASS and require nap breaks for little ones, this will not be an issue! Once you've entered for the day, you'll even have the option to edit or change them outside the park, the system limitation is just that you must have scanned entry first!

I hope this helps in planning your upcoming visit. Please come back and let us know if you have any other questions!
