Do we still get to enter through the atrium on the Disney wonder at the San Diego port? It was my favorite part when I boarded the dream at Port Canaveral

Welcome aboard, Cailyn! I'm so glad to see you back with another question about your exciting cruise with Captain Mickey and his crew from San Diego this year! I am counting down the days until I set sail out of San Diego this year too, and the time simply cannot pass quickly enough until we're walking onto the Disney Wonder as the Cast Members announce our family name and applaud our arrival. I'm sure that was the most magical start to your Disney cruise the last time you sailed too. It's always our favorite way to begin our vacations!

You'll be happy to know that guests board through the Atrium lobby on embarkation day for their Disney Cruise Line voyages regardless of the departure port. Now, that is always subject to change, and could vary based on embarkation port situations at time of departure, but every time my family and I have sailed, and from every port (including our cruises from Southern California), we've boarded that first day through the gorgeous Atrium, which is the best welcome aboard we could imagine! To walk into the ship through that beautiful lobby, and have that be our first taste of sailing with Disney sets the bar high for what always turns out to be a magical cruise! I can't wait for you to set sail from San Diego and experience the same thing, Cailyn!

Have such fun planning the final details, and please stop back again with other questions! We're so happy to help!
