Is there enough time to go to both parks if you are only there for one day

Hi, Tracy! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

One of my favorite things about the Disneyland Resort is the close proximity of the parks. Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are literally right across from each other, so hopping between parks is really easy. That's why I always recommend park hopper tickets. If you start your day early, you can certainly see and do a lot at both parks. Here are my best tips:

    • Use the Disney FASTPASS service as much as possible. I suggest obtaining a FASTPASS to an attraction first thing when you arrive. Make note of the time listed on the FASTPASS ticket when you can obtain your next FASTPASS and plan your day accordingly.
    • Use the Disneyland app to look up attraction wait times and FASTPASS return times before heading to a particular attraction. You can also use this app to locate your favorite characters, a place to eat, the nearest restroom, and so much more.
    • Use the single rider option if you are able. Some attractions offer single rider lines which usually means shorter wait times. If you are traveling in a group, please note that using the single rider line will split up your party. Look for the signs at the attraction entrance or ask a Cast Member where single riders should enter.

Finally, if you are willing to stay all day, you can also catch some great nighttime entertainment like the Main Street Electrical Parade and the Remember…Dreams Come True fireworks spectacular.

    ChEARs!
