Is there enough time to do Disneyland and California Adventure in the same day?

    Hey there, Carmen!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited you will soon be making a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

With Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park only footsteps apart, it is so easy to visit both parks throughout the day with a Park Hopper ticket. In fact, we always prefer this type of ticket so we can have freedom throughout the day to experience our favorite attractions, meet Characters, and dine wherever we want depending on our mood. With the Disney MaxPass feature, you can even make Disney FASTPASS selections at either park throughout the day with your Park Hopper ticket. This means you can be riding "it's a small world" in Disneyland Park while digitally making a FASTPASS selection for Incredicoaster at Disney California Adventure Park. You can even view attraction wait times on the Disneyland app allowing you to efficiently plan. This will save you so much time, maximizing your days and making them as full of magic as possible.

While I do think it's possible to experience both parks in one day, you definitely won't get to experience EVERYTHING at both parks. I usually recommend at least two full days at the Disneyland Resort to get a taste of what is offered between the parks. If you have more time, a three to five day stay will let you fully immerse yourself in the Disneyland Resort while getting to experience the Downtown Disney District as well as some of the amenities of your Disneyland Resort Hotel. I love longer stays so we can take things a little slower to appreciate the details, experience as many attractions and restaurants as possible, and to relax!

I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions.
