I just got an e-mail from disney offering the free quick service dinning plan. My question is I am already booked for 4/14-4/21. I am staying on-site in a value resort and got the free 300.00 gift card can I add the free dinning plan too.

    Hi Cathy!
Congratulations on receiving a free Quick Service Dining offer from Disney! You can only apply one offer at a time on your Disney vacation package, so you will have to choose the offer that would save you and your family the most money.  You have to do the math to see which special offer is a better deal. You did not mention how many people are in your party, but I am going to assume 4 people in your party staying for 8 nights on your vacation to Walt Disney World.  The 2010 Quick Service Dining plan is worth $31.99 per night for adults and $9.99 per night for children (3 to 9 years old).  So assuming the 4 people in your party are all over 10 years old, this dining plan would cost you $127.96 per day which is $1023.68 for the 8 night stay (this is the cost if you were to pay for the Quick Service Dining Plan yourself).

If you were to decide to keep your current deal (the free $300 gift card) and pay for your Quick Service Meals (2 meals a day and 2 snacks) and if your meals averaged out to be $9.00 each and $4.00 for each snack, then it would be $26.00 per person per day to pay for your meals out of your pocket.   This scenario would equal $832.00 that you would be paying for 2 meals and 2 snacks a day without having the meal plan.

It does appear that the free Quick Service Dining offer would save you more money, but the choice is ultimately up to you!

I hope that you have an awesome time in the most magical place on earth on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
