Ellen's Energy Adventure says it is 45 minutes long. Is it too long for a 3 and 6 year old? Do you think they would get bored?

Hi, Mary! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Having brought my then 4-year-old and 5-year-old on Ellen’s Energy Adventure in Epcot myself, your question called to me! First, if either of your children is afraid of dark rides AT ALL, then this attraction is probably not the best for them. My 4-year-old started crying about 2 minutes into the ride and continued to cry the ENTIRE time. My 5-year-old, however, LOVED it and did not find it too long or boring at all. There are some animatronic dinosaur’s which she LOVED, although her sister was terrified by them. I think a good rule of thumb is that if they are not afraid of Journey Into Imagination With Figment, then they should be fine.

In my opinion, 45 minutes is a long time for just one Attraction and we would like to use that time to meet more Disney Characters or explore the Pavilions at World Showcase. That being said, I have heard rumors that Ellen’s Energy Adventure could be changing (again, these are just rumors and I do not have any “insider” information on this), so if it is something that you really want your children to experience, then why not give it a try?

I hope this answers your question! Come back to see us real soon!
