Is there any electric wheelchair rentals that can be rented for the entire week at WDW resorts & parks? One rental for everything -- parks & resort.

ECVs and wheelchairs at the Disney theme parks cannot be reserved in advance. They are first-come first-served, they may not leave the theme park (to go to your hotel for example), and they can be pricey.

As a first step, I would go to the website allearsnet.com. Click on the search button (near the top right) and search for an article called "Wheelchair/Scooter/Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV) FAQ." This will give you some good basic information on the mobility assistance situation at Disney World.

If the Disney option does not seem right for you, there are many private companies that rent wheelchairs and ECVs in the Orlando area. Most will pick up and deliver right to your hotel. You can rent by the week and can use their equipment in both the parks and resorts. I personally do not have any experience with any particular company, so I can't make a specific recommendation. However, I will tell you that most of the non-Disney scooters I've seen in the parks are from Buena Vista Scooter Rentals (buenavistascooter.com). That's probably a good place to start your investigation. Then if you Google "Disney wheelchair rental" you'll find many more options.

Another resource you should look for is a book called PassPorter's Open Mouse for Walt Disney World. This is the definitive guide for anyone visiting WDW with any sort of physical issue. The potential challenges with each attraction are described in great detail. You can get this book at Amazon.com or from major booksellers.
