My eight-year old son and I are traveling to WDW on July 1 - 5, 2013. We're staying at the Pop Century Resort. What is the best option for transportation to the parks from this resort?

    Hi Kristin,

Your trip is so close! I hope you have a wonderful time at the Walt Disney World Resorts!

Pop Century uses buses to travel between the Walt Disney World Resorts. I personally love traveling on the Disney transportation system because I do not have to drive and I get quickly to where I want to go. Plus after a day of touring, I do not want to get lost driving back to my resort. Finally, if I am going to park hop, there is no need to move my car.

If you had a stroller or a younger child, I might recommend a rental car. However, you have Disney's Magical Express to take you from Orlando International Airport if you are flying into the Orlando area.

If you are driving, then a car would be quicker to every park but Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom is the only park where the Disney transportation is the best option.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
