What is the most efficient way to travel from the Contemporary Resort to Disney Springs, using Disney transportation?

    Hi Amy!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. One of the most convenient things about staying at a Disney Resort hotel is all of the options you have for complimentary resort transportation. And one of my favorite things about Disney's Contemporary Resort is that you have access to boats, buses and the monorail right from your hotel! Traveling to Disney Springs is incredibly simple from Disney's Contemporary Resort. You can simply take a bus directly from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Disney Springs; no need to transfer or use multiple modes transportation!

Keep in mind that buses arrive approximately every 20 minutes, so depending on when you arrive you may have to wait for a bus. I recommend that you allow one hour transportation time when taking the complimentary resort transportation buses to allow plenty of time to wait for your bus, get through traffic along the route and walk to your destination in Disney Springs when you arrive. If you don't mind paying for transportation, you can utilize the Minnie Van Service from Disney's Contemporary Resort to get to Disney Springs, which will give you quicker transportation since you won't have the uncertainty of waiting for your bus.

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience Mobile App for use during your trip as its 'Get Directions' feature is a great way to help you figure out how to get around Walt Disney World Resort using all of the available transportation options, plus it will give you time estimates for each mode of transportation! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
