My ECV doesn't fit in the regular queue lines. Will I be able to get a GAC in order to bypass some of those lines or will I have to forego those rides altogether? Cast members have said the chair fits, but ECVs get stuck everyday due to narrow lines.

    Hi Melissa,

You asked a great question about ECVs! Disney has done a lot of work to modify the queues at the Walt Disney World Resorts so that guests in ECVs can stay with their family in the regular queue. I noticed more ECVs in queues this summer than in the past.

The mobility disabilities website lists which attractions and shows require transfers or the ability to stay in the ECV. With the GAC being replaced with the Disability Access Service (DAS) card, guests in wheelchairs and ECVs are not issued a DAS. You will go to the entrance of the ride you want to enjoy and ask the cast member how you should queue. If the ECV fits, you will wait in the general queue. If not, you will be given a return time and enter through the alternative entrance.

If you have any additional questions, you can reach out to the cast members at 407-560-2547.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
