Is it more economical, when visiting WDW with another family, to get two different accomodations - one for each fam, or to share one (assuming the resort type is the same, ie. value, moderate, etc.)?

Hi Erin, How fun to be planning a Disney World vacation with friends!

I think the answer to this question depends a lot on the size of the party and when you are traveling. Generally speaking, however, it would be less expensive to each get your own Value Resort room as compared to sharing a large Villa. Two deluxe rooms at certain times of the year would be close to the cost of sharing a Villa. Your best bet is to call 407-W DISNEY and provide the Travel Planner with your preferred dates and party size. If your group consists of 8 or more people, you can call 407-WDW-PLAN and the Grand Gathering Travel Planners will be able to give you all of the options that would best fit your group.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel and have a wonderful vacation!
