After eating an early (1st seating) Character Breakfast what time do your families usually want lunch? I do not know what to do about ADR for lunch after a big B and trying to fit a nap in. Go back to the resort for lunch?

We often plan early character breakfasts as a great way to start our day at WDW. Other people may be able to be more restrained that we are, but in our family we eat a lot at those character meals. ("A lot" is secret code for an insanely massive and alarming amount of food -- mostly bacon -- mmm.) At home I have a yogurt and coffee for breakfast, but at the character meals it's all just there and so good and so much and so good ... Well, you get the idea ... they could probably roll me out of Chef Mickey's in a wheelbarrow on some mornings ;-)

As you can see, we are all stuffed to the gills when we leave a character meal. After that, I really could go all the way to dinner with just a small snack mid-afternoon. The kids usually want some small lunch, but definitely not a big sit-down meal. We'll often get them two sandwiches to split between the three of them at the pool at our hotel at about 1:00. Then we'll have a real dinner at about 6:30 and be fine for the day.

On other days, we'll get just get a muffin or cereal for breakfast, and then have a big table service lunch as our main meal. There are really several good ways to plan it out depending on what kind of eaters you and your kids are. But in my experience, a light/late lunch is often sufficient after a big character breakfast.
