Can you eat or drink while waiting in line for rides? I was thinking that would be good "entertainment" for my little ones but read somewhere it's not allowed.

    Welcome back, Allison!

Like you, I like to maximize my family's time in the theme parks. When my little Mouseketeer was young, we tried to keep to his at-home eating schedule as much as possible and avoid meltdowns in queues. In my experience, Cast Members will ask you finish your food or drink before entering a queue. You will also hear an audio message before most shows to remind you to "refrain from eating, drinking and flash photography." Therefore, you may want to make a few table-service reservations, take advantage of quick-service locations near your next attraction and plan to consume snacks before entering a queue.

If you are worried about keeping your Mouseketeers entertained, then be sure to add a few fun items to your park bag. For example, small toys or glow sticks make for fun surprises while waiting for attractions or parade. Park maps are a great distraction, and your Mouseketeers may enjoy finding multiple ways to get to your next destination. Of course, traditional games like I Spy or Rock, Paper, Scissors are always fun, and don't forget to look for Hidden Mickeys!

I hope this helps with your planning, Allison! Please visit us again should you have additional questions before your visit!

    Happy Planning!
