How easy is it to travel between the Polynesian, the Floridian, and the Contemporary by monorail? We'll be staying at the Polynesian, and we'd like to dine at all 3 of these restaurants for character breakfasts since they are on the monorail line.

    Hey Jennifer!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to answer your great question!

It is extremely easy to travel between Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney’s Contemporary Resort via monorail! All three of these Disney Resort hotels are on the same monorail route. This route includes the following stops:

        - Magic Kingdom park
        - Disney’s Contemporary Resort
        - Transportation and Ticket Center
        - Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
        - Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Please remember that because there are multiple stops, it can sometimes take 20 minutes or more to do a complete resort monorail “loop”.

Mom's Tip: Don’t forget that there is also boat transportation connect Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, which is incredibly convenient and at times much faster than using the monorail when traveling between these two Resort hotels.

Jennifer, I hope I have helped you better plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Please do not hesitate to visit us again if you have any more questions!

    Wishing you an Unforgettable Vacation,
