How early would you need to book a WDW trip if you want a room with a daybed at the Polynesian? We are a family of 4, but two children (boy 6 and girl 11) will not sleep together at all. We just want to make sure we get that kind of room before arriving.

    Hi Libby,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I totally understand your problem. My daughters, who are now 21 and 16, have never liked to share a bed.

The good news is that, to the best of my knowledge, all the rooms at the Polynesian resort have a sofa that converts to a day bed. That was a lifesaver last year when my family stayed at the Polynesian for our Thanksgiving holiday. No grumbling about sleeping arrangements!

You will love the convenience of the Polynesian. It's so easy to hop on the monorail for quick and easy access to Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Please let me know if I can help with any other questions as you make your plans for your Walt Disney World vacation. Enjoy!
