How early before boarding time can we drop off luggage at port

    Hi there, Mary!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so happy you stopped by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation!  You are going to have the BEST time with Captain Mickey making memories you won’t soon forget!

If you are anything like me, the thought of lugging around a lot of luggage is always overwhelming to me!  Luckily, you can begin dropping off luggage as soon as the port opens!  Most ports open around 11AM and helpful porters will be available at that time to collect your tagged luggage.  You will receive your luggage tags in the mail prior to your sail date, but you will want to wait to affix those to your luggage once you get to the port.  Then the porters will take them from you and ensure they make their way back to you in your stateroom later that afternoon.  I recommend bringing a day bag with you to carry on any important medications, documents and other important necessities – like a swim suit!  You never know when you may want to take a dip in the pool or a slide down one of the fun onboard water slides!

Once you embark grab some lunch from Cabanas - don't forget the chocolate chip cookies (my favorite!) - and explore your new home away from home!  It’s always fun and exciting to explore the ship – whether it’s your first of fifth Disney Cruise Line vacation!  I feel like there is always something new to experience!

Wishing you a wonderful and magical vacation at sea, Mary!  Say hiya to Captain Mickey for me!

    Happy Sailing!
