How early should we arrive to ticketed events like Early Morning Magic and dessert parties? And how early should we arrive to restaurant reservations. Disney time is in it’s own category.

Hello again, Anne! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

What a fun itinerary you have set up! Disney Early Morning Magic, dessert parties, and dining galore! It all sounds "practically perfect in every way!"

For special events like Disney Early Morning Magic and dessert parties, I would recommend arriving about 30 minutes early. Sometimes Cast Members are able to check you in early, even if Guests aren't allowed to enter yet, but this saves some time once the area opens so you can dive right into the fun! Even if you aren't able to get checked in early, lines will form, so the earlier you are there to get in line, the sooner you will get in.

For dining reservations, planning to arrive 15 minutes early is a good rule of thumb. My family is always on the early side (we are eager to get to the yummy food!) and have been known to arrive earlier than 15 minutes early, but some locations will not even allow you to check in until 15 minutes prior to your reservation. But no worries if you aren't there 15 minutes early! You can show up right on time and still be fine.

Enjoy your magical visit, Anne! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
