When is the earliest I can make fast pass selections if I am going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? I am staying on campus that night but only have tickets for the Christmas party, not additional day tickets. Thanks!

Howdy Erika! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

If this is your first time experiencing the holiday magic that is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you are in for a real treat! Well, actually, MANY treats as they are complimentary and found throughout Magic Kingdom Park during the party, just look for the big blow-up candy canes! During this event as well as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party there are no FastPass+ Reservations for Attractions or Disney Character Meet & Greets. My suggestion is to arrive early and make your way for the Disney Character you would like to meet with (might I suggest my favorite, Jack Skellington as “Sandy Claws”?), then enjoy a few of your “must-do” attractions, a Quick Service meal and make sure to catch the fireworks display AND Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade! Seeing as though these experiences are ONLY available during the party, I prefer to enjoy these as opposed to other Attractions that I could potentially enjoy during another visit.

Have a very merry time and please come and visit us again soon!
