    Hello, Connie!

As a mom to a son with special needs, I know the importance of planning ahead to make sure your child can enjoy all the magic! Here are a few things that you may find helpful:

         • Character Experiences- Whether you are at character dining venues or meet and greet locations, it is important to let the Cast Members know of your situation so they can pass along that information to characters.

         • Disability Access Service (DAS)- You can request this service at any theme park Guest Relations Lobby. Not only will this allow your Mouseketeer preferential seating to get close to the action for shows like Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage or Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!, but it will also be helpful for attractions like Jungle Cruise, where your guide navigates your boat through the jungle! If you have a question as you enter a queue, there are always Cast Members available to assist you.

         • Disney Access-This handheld system provides synchronized captioning, amplified audio, and audio description for Guests with Hearing Disabilities. It is available at all theme park Guest Relations on a first come, first-served basis.

My space is limited, but I hope this helps! If you have additional questions, please let me know!
