My DW & I are a planning a (distance) future Trip to WDW. We originally planned to go for our anniversary, but our 1st little princess arrived, putting that on hold. What is the best age group for kids to experience the most out of WDW including rides

Congratulations on your anniverary, birth of your child and upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! You have so many wonderful reasons to celebrate!

The best age for Disney World is a difficult question to answer, as each age offers something special. Toddlers get a kick out of Disney Junior Live On Stage at Hollywood Studios, the fountains, meeting the characters and pools. Taking a young toddler to Disney can be so much fun, but some toddler's also get scared of the characters and certain attractions. Each parent understands their child and if he/she would do well in that environment.

Children ages 5-9 are at a particularly great age for Walt Disney World as they can experience many of the attractions, have stamina to explore the parks all day and still love meeting the characters. This can be a great age for maximizing the joy of Disney World.

Tweens also love Disney and it can be a great way for them to still enjoy their childhood and joys of being  young without the pressures of school and friends. Parents will love bonding with their tweens over the shared experience of Disney.

Teens experience Disney in a different fashion, going off on their own for a part of the day and enjoying more of the thrill attractions. However, parents and teens can enjoy a new side of Disney, such as the Sammy Duvall Water Sports, Parasailing and other outdoor adventures.

No matter what your child's age, you are sure to love Walt Disney World and have an amazing time with your family!
