Going to DW Dec 12th-18th 2013 as a first trip for everyone. I purchased the 6 day base tickets and was wondering whether or not there are any particular parks to visit more than once for a 5 year old boy?As I have never been any tips would be appreciated.

With a 5-year old you will find that the Magic Kingdom has a lot more to offer/appeal to him and your family than the other parks. I would plan a day at each park, with the remaining days all going to the Magic Kingdom.

So each park has something he will find of interests, there is no doubt. But there are more attractions, shows, and experiences at the Magic Kingdom. So the likelihood that he will want to return to repeat something, or you will want to return because there was still a lot left to do, is very high.

I always recommend that if you can start with the Magic Kingdom being your first day park, that is a good idea. Then hit a few other parks, making sure your last day is back at the Magic Kingdom. It is the iconic park, and it really sets the stage for the entire vacation.

If you write me back with what days you are planning on going to the parks, I can give you a general idea of what park to go to on what day.

BOTTOM LINE: With 6 park days, and a 5-year old in your group, I would spend 3 days at the Magic Kingdom, 1 day at the Animal Kingdom, 1 day at Epcot, and 1 day at Hollywood Studios.

    Have a magical vacation!
