Going to DW Dec. 2013, with our 3,9,&10yr old kids. What are the height requirements and where should we begin to plan our vaca to get the most out of it? What advice can you give is? Thank you in advance.

    Hi April,

To explore the height requirements of the attractions, you'll want to click here first. Over to the left side of the page, you'll want to open up the Height menu where you can select the appropriate height to find what attractions are a match.

To help with planning, my go-to website is www.touringplans.com.  This site is from the folks behind the book The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, and it offers a wealth of information.  My favorite piece is the touring plans:  over 100 detailed itineraries that walk guests through the order to visit attractions so you make sure to visit the must-sees and in an order to reduce your wait times. Even after our many visits to the parks, we still rely on these plans to help us make the most of our days.  I should note that there is a small cost for this, but one that I find incredibly worthwhile.

You may also want to begin visiting the Disney Parks Blog regularly for news and updates. As your trip becomes closer, you'll want to begin planning your dining.  If you plan on eating at any table service restaurants, you'll be able to make 10 days worth of reservations 180 days out if you are a Disney resort guest. For dining ideas, I really like www.disneyfoodblog.com.

And of course, we are here to help as you have more questions!
