We are going to DW 3/5/11 - 3/11/10 and our boys are 14 & 8 what show would you recommend Spirit of Aloha show or the Hoop dee-Doo Musical.

    Hi Brandy,

Both the Spirit of Aloha Show and Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue make wonderful endings to a perfect Disney Day.  You know your kids best, but my boys (ages 6 and 8) preferred Hoop Dee Doo over the Luau (but only slightly).  The Revue is a Country Western variety show with lots of slap stick comedy, fun musical numbers and great food.  I waited to take my kids to the Revue until very recently so that they would be old enough to appreciate and "get" most of the humor, and it ended up being a good idea.  They were both cracking up for most of the performance and really enjoyed the musical numbers as well.  The Luau is a traditional Polynesian Luau whose grand finale, a fire-eater is truly spectacular.  (He was my kids' favorite performer.)  Food at both venues is served family-style and includes all you care to eat of the wonderful offerings.

Whichever you chose, have a magical trip!
