We are going to DW in April for my daughter's 5th birthday. We are planning on going to Magic Kingdom and Epcot and we scheduled dinner at 1900 Park Fare so she can see Cinderella. Has anyone ordered a cake? Can we bring our own cake?

    Hello Stacey,

Sounds like your little Princess is in for a royal birthday! I'm sure a cake will be the icing to a wonderful celebration.

Guests are allowed to bring food that does not require heating, such as a cake, into any Disney resort. So if you would like to have cake in your hotel room with your family, it's absolutely an option.

But State Law prohibits Cast Members from preparing, cooking or reheating any foods brought in by guests. Many table service restaurants have a perfect solution: six-inch round cakes available in chocolate or vanilla. Or you can call 407-WDW-DINE to order a custom made cake from the Disney Bakery.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip and happy birthday to your daughter!
