We are DVC & staying onsite with a split res @ BWV & AKV. With the new Fast Pass selections, how is this a benefit if offsite visitors can also make fast pass selections ahead of time also? Seems like FP line will be full too, thank you!

    Hi Jamie,

I love a split reservation!  Staying at more than one Disney Vacation Club resort is a great way to experience extra magic.

The new FastPass+ system at Walt Disney World is really great.  I have used it in the past and am currently using it to set up my selections for an upcoming trip.  I love the convenience of setting up my selections from home, and then not needing to run from attraction to attraction to collect paper slips as guests used to need to do with the FASTPASS system.  I also have enjoyed the convenience of changing my selections once I was already in a theme park using my iPhone and the My Disney Experience app.

Currently, guests staying at a Walt Disney World resort, including Disney Vacation Club resorts, are able to make their FastPass+ selections up to 60 days before their vacation begins.  Guests staying off-site are able to make these selections up to 30 days before their vacation begins.  The system is subject to change, so do stay tuned for any further changes to the system.

Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, Jamie.  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
