    Teri from CA Asked

Are DVC members, with ownership in a WDW resort eligible for Florida resident tickets?

Hello, Teri! It's fantastic to have you here, neighbor!

I'm a Disney Vacation Club member too, so it's an honor to help you on the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

While Disney Vacation Club members currently enjoy many benefits like discounted Annual Passes, parking benefits, and discounted tickets for Special Events like Disney After Hours, ownership does not qualify as proof of Florida residency. Sometimes also I dream that someday I can turn my sweet home away from home into my only home!

To be eligible for Florida resident tickets, you will need to provide proof that you reside in Florida. You can do that by showing a valid Florida driver's license, a valid Florida-based military ID, or a valid Florida-based military ID. You will also be able to use mail received from financial institutions, federal, state, county, or city government agencies if they contain a Florida address under your name.

Disney Vacation Club members are currently eligible for a good discount on Annual Passes, so don't forget to consider that option when you're pricing your vacation.

If you have more questions before your May trip is here, please let us help. You can think of us as your fellow neighbors!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
