We are dvc members and are considering buying tables in wonderland card. If we eat at a restaurant that offers a dvc discount along with a tables in wonderland discount are we allowed to get both discounts or does one only apply? Thanks for the help!

    Hi Michelle,

I love my Tables in Wonderland card! Getting a 20% discount on food and beverage at most Walt Disney World table service dining locations is truly magical.

You cannot combine Tables in Wonderland and Disney Vacation Club dining discounts. While your dining discounts through Disney Vacation Club are covered with your membership (that is, there is no additional charge for these discounts when you are a Disney Vacation Club member), these discounts are typically less. The Disney Vacation Club discount is typically 10% and is available at far fewer restaurants than the Tables in Wonderland discounts. The Disney Vacation Club discounts do not cover alcoholic beverages, while the Tables in Wonderland discounts do include alcoholic beverages. The Disney Vacation Club discounts are good for the member plus up to three other guests while Tables in Wonderland is good for up to 10 people including the cardholder. A final perk of Tables in Wonderland that my family loves - you receive complimentary valet parking for the purpose of dining at a resort. If you come across a restaurant that accepts the Disney Vacation Club discount but not Tables in Wonderland - which is infrequent but does happen - you can then use your Disney Vacation Club discount instead.

Tables in Wonderland is currently available to Disney Vacation Club members for $100. While this may seem expensive, you need to estimate how much your family spends at table service restaurants over the course of the year. With the 20% discount on food an alcohol, my family easily recoups the $100. What can I say, we enjoy a great meal while on property at Walt Disney World!
