We are DVC members and AP holders and we want to pre- register on line @ 60day mark which is 6 days from today. Will we be able to add the dining plan to our reservation at a later date without jeopardizing our reservations? Love your panel!!!

    Hi Danny!

Thanks for the Moms Panel love. Helping Guests like you plan their magical vacations is actually a lot of fun for us too. That’s why we are here!

As Disney Vacation Club Members, you may add the Disney Dining Plan up to 2 days prior to your check-in date, though I would try not to wait that late, just so you don’t forget! No need to worry either, as adding the Disney Dining Plan later will not in any way cancel any of your Advance Dining Reservations. In fact, I always recommend making any desired Advance Dining Reservations as soon as possible, and you can always decide later if you wish to purchase the Disney Dining Plan or not.

Since you are approaching your 60 day mark, you’ll want to be sure to make your FastPass+ selections early for the best availability. The window opens at midnight “Mickey Time” - also know as Eastern Time. Some of my family’s favorites include Toy Story Midway Mania and Seven Dwarves Mine Train.

You may also do your online check-in for your resort stay any time after that 60 day mark. Online check-in is not required, but it is offered as a convenience. I have always utilized online check-in when available and had a good experience. The newest part of online check-in allows you to choose to have your room number sent to you electronically, and you can skip the line at the front desk altogether!

I hope this answers your question, Danny. Feel free to ask any additional questions you have before your trip, we are here to help!

    Wishing you Membership Magic!
