Hi! We're DVC @ Bay lake towers w/ 1 additional non DVC guest. I recently noticed a new Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party @ disney world. We're thinking about booking it using our meal plan. Has anyone attended this? tips?

    Hi Michele,

Sounds like you have a great plan! From Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, heading to Magic Kingdom is only a quick monorail ride or walk away. Exploring options of the many activities at Magic Kingdom is a fantastic idea for your vacation.

I have not attended the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party myself; however, I have attended the IllumiNations Sparking Dessert Party at Epcot. I find the nighttime fireworks parties to be fun, and I really enjoy knowing that I have a set aside place to enjoy the fireworks from without having to worry about getting to a space early. I spoke with my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelists Kay and Jen, both of whom have attended this party. Both of them enjoyed the party, and specifically mentioned that the view of Tinker Bell flying overhead on her nightly flight from Cinderella Castle is wonderful at the location of the party.

You cannot book the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party using a Disney Dining Plan, so you will need to book it using a traditional payment method such as a credit card.

I would like to thank Kay and Jen for their thoughts on the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions, Michele!
