I am DVC-90% avoid holidays-possible friend trip-only time she can go is: around Thanksgiving, 2 weeks over Xmas & 2 weeks in March. (works for private school) Which is the lesser of all these times to book a trip? Airfare will be crazy no matter what.

    Hiya, Denise!

If you know anything about most of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, you know that we think there's no such thing as a bad time to visit Walt Disney World. But if I had to go with one of those times, thinking only in terms of crowds, I would go with the March dates. If I was going to consider how many points it was going to be to travel during any of those holidays and stay at a Disney Vacation Club resort, March and Thanksgiving are going to be about the same, with December slightly higher.

I never miss the Christmas holidays at Walt Disney World. I cannot imagine a more magical, spectacular place to be. And over the course of two weeks, you should be able to enjoy just about every bit of holiday fun. But in March, you'll probably be able to enjoy the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. In 2019, it begins March 6th.

It sounds like you're planning a wonderful trip with a great friend. I hope you both have a practically perfect vacation.
