During extra extra magic hours this fall, will resort quickservice or in park restaurants be open earlier? We like to eat at our resort before the parks open. We are coming labor day weekend and trying to plan where we can get breakfast pre 6 AM star wars

    Hi Karissa,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! I’m pretty excited about the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and the special “Extra” Extra Magic Hours strike me as a great way to celebrate new ways to experience the Force at Walt Disney World Resort.

We don’t yet know what the opening hours will be for the various Walt Disney World Resort hotel counter service locations once “Extra” Extra Magic Hours start. My guess is that they’ll probably open with some limited offerings, at the very least, for Guests who will be starting their Disney Day extra early. For example, during runDisney race weekends, the Resort hotel food courts open up extra early (sometimes as early as 2:30 am!) and sell some runner “power packs”, with a bunch of cold breakfast food items for sale.

Your best bet would be to ask your resort’s Lobby Concierge what your breakfast options are during these early morning hours when you start your vacation. They should have additional information about your Resort hotel’s offerings, as well as what should be available on the planet Batuu when you arrive at 6:00 am to start your adventure. From what I understand, breakfast offerings will be available there, too, so that would also be a great way to explore the land and fuel up for your Disney Day.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
