Hi, we were due to have our vacation in may 17th 2012, but we are now pregnant (Due date July) and had to cancel, we are keen to get to Disney and wondered at what age would be good to bring our new arrival, we are coming from the U.K.

    Hello Steven,

Congratulations on your wife's pregnancy.  I understand that she would not be able to fly from the UK while pregnant but I am sorry that you won't be able to make your trip.  I have come to Walt Disney World when my last child was 2 months old.  I would advise you to consult her Physician and the baby's doctor as well to see when they will clear the long flight.  I would also wait until the baby gets her first set of vaccines which in the United States is around two months old.   I think that 5-6 months will be a great age to travel and visit Walt Disney World which is right around the Christmas Holidays.  Your baby will be sitting up and eating baby food at this age and is more interactive which will be so much fun around the Disney Characters.  Again, I would consult your Physicians for more guidance.  Congratulations again from all of us on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!  You are beginning the most magical adventure of all!
