We are driving to WDW and I'd like to end with something special for a few hours the last morning, without going into the parks. What can you recommend for 2 adults, 11yo and 9yo? I want to leave on a high note! Thanks!

    Hi Valerie!

I understand your dilemma ... how do I sustain the magic through the very last minute of our stay? Departure day is always so bittersweet and you are a thoughtful planner to consider an exciting last day activity!

The first couple of ideas coming to mind include a "pool day" to soak up the sun or Disney Resort Hotel hopping which might also include a unique dining experience. For even more excitement, consider Characters in Flight at Downtown Disney where your family can soar 400 feet high in the world's largest tethered helium balloon. I'm also a big fan of Downtown Disney's newest addition, Splitsville Luxury Lanes.

What about an exhilarating parasail trip over Seven Seas Lagoon with Sammy Duvall's Water Sports? From tubing, skiing, parasailing or personal water craft, Sammy Duvall's will become a big hit with the ages of your children.

Check out the above link providing the many different recreational activities around Walt Disney World Resort property. I'm sure you'll find just the right fit for that last bit of magic!

Have a wonderful vacation, Valerie, and thank you for bringing us your question. Feel free to send others as you think of them.
