We are driving for this trip and had planned to drive ourselves to the parks, however I just read something and am confused whether resort guests now have to pay for parking at the theme parks?

    Hi Valerie!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

It's nice to have your vehicle while at Walt Disney World. It allows a lot of flexibility for traveling off property when desired.

I'm sorry you've come across some confusing information about parking fees at Walt Disney World. Guests at Disney resorts receive complimentary standard parking at the theme parks. There are some preferred parking spots that you can upgrade to for a fee, but parking in the standard spaces will be free for you.

When we have a vehicle, we usually drive to all of the parks except for Magic Kingdom Park. I feel like the resort buses are a lot more convenient than parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then taking the monorail to that park.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    ~Lori
