We are driving a rental car to Disney or Orlando airport. Turning it in and then staying at Disney. Should we take Magical express ? If yes how do we deal with our luggage?

Hello Karen! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

While I am a solid supporter of Disney's Magical Express as a means of transport from Orlando International Airport as a benefit to Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, there is something about having your own vehicle that provides a comforting sense of control.

In your case, Disney's Magical Express is available to you on the date you Check-In to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel whether you choose to use it or not.

If you choose to use Disney's Magical Express and book your trip online or by calling (407)939-1936, you will need to manage your own luggage, bring it to Disney's Magical Express on level B1 at Orlando International Airport and have it travel with you on the motorcoach. Returning your Rental Car at Orlando International Airport will be very convenient, however.

If you drive directly to Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you have a few options for returning your rental vehicle. For Alamo Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental, you may utilize the on-property Car Care Center located on property and the affiliated Complimentary Shuttle Service. For any other Rental Car Companies, you will be required to contact the third-party vendor for information on return.

    Have a Magical Trip!
