Hello is your dress code for signature restaurants formal if that's the case do I need to bring a polo shirt your s truly Keegan

    Hi Keegan,

I am so glad to hear that you are planning to take advantage of some of the signature dining restaurants at Walt Disney World. There is such a wide variety of wonderful cuisine! A couple of my favorites are Jiko - The Cooking Place for amazing African fare, and Narcoossee's, for delicious seafood and a lovely setting on the water.

There is a dress code at these signature restaurants, which can be found in this document about the Disney Dining Plan under Signature Dining Restaurants. There are some recommendations made for what you might want to wear, and this is defined as resort casual. To quote this document about what may not be worn, "Not permitted in dining room: tank tops, swimsuits or swimsuit coverups, hats for gentlemen, cutoffs, torn clothing of any kind or T-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics." Reading this, I believe that you do not need to bring a polo shirt; that a nice t-shirt that you might wear into the theme parks would be acceptable. One exception to this is at Victoria & Albert's, which is a Five Diamond Award restaurant and has a stricter dress code.

Each signature restaurant also has the dress code listed on their website, like the ones I posted for Jiko - The Cooking Place and Narcoossee's, so you can check the specific restaurant to which you are headed.

Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Keegan!
