is there a dress code for the second seating for dinner?

Welcome back, Barb! I'm so happy that you're already planning the details of your Disney Cruise Line voyage this spring.

There are two dinner seatings when you sail with Captain Mickey: main dining and the second seating. Since Disney features Rotational Dining, you'll always have the same dining service team with you as you rotate through the three main restaurants onboard, and they'll get to know your preferences. You'll get to know them and for us, they really become like family! We enjoy chatting with them each evening and my kids love to ask where they'll be working at breakfast and lunch so we can eat there and see them then too!

The attire for dinner each night, whether you're in the early or later seating is cruise casual, unless otherwise specified in the Personal Navigator or your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. I believe you're on a four night sailing, so there won't be a formal night, however there is an optional dress up night if you're interested in getting dolled up that evening. Otherwise, cruise casual is the go-to standard, with no swim-wear or tank tops. Most guests will wear nice casual pants and a polo shirt for the men or sundresses or nice casual shirts and bottoms for the ladies. Some guests do dress up more each evening, but that's up to you. On Pirate Night, it's cruise casual also, but you may want to wear some swashbuckling accessories or a pirate costume to join in on the fun! My kids insist on it!

Please stop back over the next few months if you have more questions as you continue to plan. We're happy to help!
