Going on Dream in March & have 6 pm dinner for husband & I at Remy. Do I get my kids (5 & 7) dinner before I drop them off at kids club? Will the kids club keep them busy until we are done eating? What is they get tired?

Welcome aboard, James! I'm happy to hear that you'll be making reservations at Remy for a romantic dinner!

You've got a few options for the kids' dinner that night. First of all, you could go with them to grab a quick bite to eat at the quick service spots near the pool. Alternately, you could order room service while you're getting dressed. But, my kids' favorite option when we have adult dining reservations, is to eat with their new friends in the Youth Clubs. My kids are five and seven too, and they absolutely love to have dinner without the grown-ups in the youth spaces. Check out your Personal Navigator that day, as it will list the dinner time in the clubs, which is normally at 5:30 or 6. Counselors there do ask that kids who plan to eat in the clubs arrive about 20 minutes before the dinner so they can plan how many meals to order. Plus, that'll give you a bit of extra time to finish getting ready for your dinner without the kids in the room, or even grab a pre-dinner cocktail at Meridian!

With so many events and activities going on in the clubs, the kids will be busy the whole time. You might even find that when you go to pick them up, they aren't ready to leave! Once it gets a bit later, the counselors slow things down in the clubs and offer a movie on the big screen as well as mats for the kids to relax on. Sometimes we've come back late to the clubs to find our kiddos trying to keep their eyes open, but nodding off a bit as they watch the movie on their mats. Some other kids do nod off! That's totally fine! You might even find you can head out for more fun in the nighttime district after dinner if your kids aren't ready to leave the fun in the clubs, so just play it by ear, James.

I hope that helps as you continue to plan your cruise! Stop back and let me know if you have other questions before you set sail! I'm happy to help!
