Hello Dr. M! My girls and I were excited to see you on the mom's panel as we are all patient's of yours. Can you tell me the best route to take to drive to WDW from Northern Indiana?

    Hi Michele,

Thank you so much for sending me this question!  I would love to help you plan your trip as well.  I usually consult www.googlemaps.com to help with routing.  The drive from Elkhart/Goshen will be a long one:  19 hours and 30 minutes.  It is a fairly direct route, though.  You will basically take US-20 W to US-31 S to Indianapolis and continue to I-65 through Kentucky and Tennessee.  The Smoky Mountains will be close by if you want a side trip.  You will merge onto I-24 E toward Chattanooga.  You will then merge onto I-75 S toward Atlanta and stay on this road until you are in Florida where you will take exit 259 and merge onto I-4 W.  You will then follow the signs to the Walt Disney World resort or theme park you want to go!  Let me know when and how your trip goes!  Please bring in pictures the next time you come to the office.  Have a magical day!
