Hi DPM Panel! My family and I will be traveling aboard the Fantasy in Feb 2018. I'm wondering if it's possible to request our dining servers that we had on our last cruise? Same question for room stewards?

Ahoy, Michelle and welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I know your crew is counting down the days until you are back enjoying everything a Disney Cruise has to offer! And I'm sure you are excited about experiencing the amazing service you remember from your last vacation with Captain Mickey. That is definitely one of "minnie" things that sets Disney apart from other cruise lines and keeps my family coming back yEAR after yEAR!

We always love getting to know our servers especially on the seven-night voyages. If you would like to dine with the same dining team, you can call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to have your request noted on your reservation. They cannot guarantee that you'll be matched up again, but it never hurts to ask. Just be aware that your previous servers may be on vacation during your next sailing or assigned to a different team. We've even had two past servers promoted to Head Server!

You can also have the cruise reservation agent at Disney Cruise Line make a note of your request for the same stateroom host/hostess, but this may be trickier since your stateroom is predetermined. Your dining is a bit more flexible since rotations and specific table numbers are assigned by the cruise line.

Here's hoping you get a dose of pixie dust sprinkled your way, Michelle! It's been a pleasure assisting you with your cruise questions, and we hope you'll sail back over as you continue to plan.
