I am going to Downtown and water parks on my 1st and last days of visit...how can I go from Typhoon Lagoon to Blizzard Beach, from Dowtown to MK and from AK to Disney Quest? Thanks a lot, more than moms you are ANGELS to me!!

    Sophia,

Thanks for the kind words about the Moms Panel!

For travel between resorts, and between a park and Downtown Disney ("DTD"), Disney's bus system is often not a very efficient option. It will get you there, but it will usually take some extra time (an hour is not unusual).  All of your requests relate to travel to or from the DTD area, so please reserve extra time for this transportation.

To travel from Typhoon Lagoon (in the DTD area) to Blizzard Beach (in the Animal Kingdom area), you will need to take a bus to a nearby Resort (Caribbean Beach Resort or Coronado Springs Resort would be good options), and then you need to catch a separate bus to the Animal Kingdom area.  Be sure to mention to the driver that you want to get off at Blizzard Beach.

To go from DTD to the Magic Kingdom you will also need to transfer at a Resort (there are many options, but you might want to consider one of the ones connected to the monorail) and then take the bus (or monorail) from there.

To travel from the Animal Kingdom ("AK") to Disney Quest (in DTD) you will need to take a bus to another Resort (preferably not one in the Magic Kingdom area, as that is way out of the way), and then catch another bus from there to DTD.

In cases of Resort to Resort, or Theme Park to DTD transport, I will usually try to take a taxi (or drive, if I have a rental car).  My time is too valuable while I am on vacation.  A taxi will cost around $20 (maybe less), and will almost always save you significant time and hassle.  Ask a Cast Member or Guest Services for the location of the taxi stands (all parks and Resorts have them).

    Hope this helps.
