Is Downtown Disney in a park? Do you need a park pass to get to it?

Downtown Disney is an open shopping, dining, and entertainment venue. You do not need any pass or ticket to go there and shop or eat. There are a few activities at Downtown Disney where you do need to pay admission to participate. For example, you will need to pay a fee to experience the clubs at Pleasure Island and the arcades at Disney Quest, and you will need tickets to the Cirque du Soleil show and the AMC movies.

Here's a taste of what you will find at Downtown Disney...

Marketplace: Lego Imagination Center, World of Disney (biggest Disney Merchandise Store), Once Upon a Toy, Disney Tails (pet items), Goofy's Candy Shop, Rainforest Cafe, Wolfgang Puck Express, Earl of Sandwich, and many others.

Pleasure Island: Night clubs, comedy clubs, dance clubs, Fulton's Crab House, Raglan Road Irish Pub, and many others.

West Side: Disney Quest indoor interactive arcade, House of Blues, Planet Hollywood, AMC movie theater, Cirque du Soleil, and many others.
