    Douglas from NY Asked

Going to Downtown Disney with DW, DD, and DS. DS and I are going to Disneyquest and girls are going to AMC. Looking for counter service, which is better...Puck Express or Cooke's of Dublin?

    Hi, Douglas!

Now we are talking about one of my favorite ways to spend an evening:  Downtown Disney, shopping, and eating.  OK, I know you did not mention shopping, but it is a "must do" in my book!

Let me start with DisneyQuest.  Please do not plan to eat at their FoodQuest counter.  It really is not very good, so hoping you are planning to join the ladies for dinner!  My choice is Wolfgang Puck Express.  There food is really good, and a place that I stop at every time I am in Downtown Disney!  My favorites (just in case you are wondering!) are the pepperoni pizza and the BBQ chicken salad.  Regardless of what we order, we always toss in a kids meal of macaroni and cheese to share.  No worries, you will be doing a TON of walking in WDW on your vacation, you will walk off the calories!

For your kids, there menu is great with chicken fingers, pizza, and pasta. Truly something for everyone.  Wolfgang Puck Express is included on the Disney Dining Plan and a great way to use a Quick Service credit if you have the Dining Plan.

If you are a fish-and-chips fan, then you might want to try Cookes of Dublin.  It really is yummy, but I have to lean to Wolfgang Puck for a dee-lish meal!  Have a fun family-night in Downtown Disney.
