    Roselyn from HI Asked

I've downloaded all my photos from the Disney Photo Pass & would like to print & put into a printed photo book. Do I need a photo release from Disney & how can I get one just in case the photo printing shop asks for it?

    Aloha, Roselyn!

Thanks for bringing your great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy you are re-living your magical vacation memories by downloading your Disney PhotoPass pictures.

As someone who has also wanted to make photo books and prints of my amazing Disney PhotoPass pictures, I had the same question as you the first time I purchased these photo downloads. Once you purchase your photo downloads either as a package, as a part of the Disney MaxPass feature, or one image at a time, the Disney PhotoPass watermark will be removed from your images. Once these images are purchased, you will have a Limited License to use these photos for personal, non-commercial use. This includes photo gifts, greeting cards, prints, social media posts, and photo books to name a few things. Since your pictures will not have any official watermark, there shouldn't be any problem using them with third party photo-managing sights. I have personally made dozens of photo books, used my Disney PhotoPass pictures for Christmas cards, and even had them blown up as large canvas prints to hang in my home. I love having these memories on hand as we plan our future trips together.

The Disney PhotoPass website also has a variety of photo gift options for purchase. I personally preferred making my photo book through their official site since they have so many wonderful Disney backgrounds and icons to add to the books making them so much more personal and unique.

I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. Have a Fantasmic day!
