    Hi Doug,this is our first trip to DW & need some advice.We are coming next year 11 nights 12 days from April 22 to May 3.What days should we do the 4 parks plus 2 xtra visits to AK & MK,a waterpark visit + 3 trips off Disney grounds to US/DC/BG?Tha

    Chris,

    This far out it is hard to plan exact park days for exact calendar days, since we don't know park hours, Extra Magic Hours, etc. But I would recommend that if you have three days you would want to be off Disney property that these days would be best grouped together. That way you can rent a car and save a lot on transportation costs, in both money and time. Here is an initial thought of what I would do;

    • April 22: Arrival Day
    • April 23: Magic Kingdom
    • April 24: Epcot
    • April 25: Animal Kingdom
    • April 26: Off Property
    • April 27: Off Property
    • April 28: Off Property
    • April 29: Hollywood Studios
    • April 30: Water Park
    • May 1: Animal Kingdom
    • May 2: Magic Kingdom
    • May 3: Departure Day

    I really like always having the Magic Kingdom be my first and last stop. It has more to offer, and it is so iconic that you want it to be the start and end to your magical vacation.

    Now you will want to tweak this when park hours and Extra Magic Hours are out. But to keep the magic of your planning alive I would recommend you know start to investigate where you want to dine each day, based on locations.

    As a matter of fact, why not get started looking at that and write me with more questions on what dining options you are considering!

    Have a magical vacation!
