hi doug i was wondering if march is a good time to visit disney world and also i was curious of what a disney dollar is? if you have a chance you responce would be greatly apprechiated

    Katrina,

    Both great questions!

I think March is a good time to visit. The weather is great, however the crowds can get a bit on the high side. While it is not horrible, if you can move to late February or late April, that might be better.

To your next question, Disney Dollars are simply Disney printed dollar bills (and $5 and $10)  that can be used on property like actual cash. They are fun, and kids love the fact that Mickey and others are occupying the place of George Washington on the bills. But be warned that while they are cute, you cannot get them refunded, and of course they can only be spent on property. So only buy Disney Dollars that you know you will spend while here. Also, there is no real benefit to using them, other than the novelty factor. They are not discounted, or offer any added benefit. They are available for purchase only on property.

A fun idea for Disney Dollars: Disney Parks Moms Panelist Kay hands envelopes to everyone in her party at their first meal of the trip. Each contains a $1 Disney Dollar, except one that has a $10, and another with a $5.  It is like opening a present at the start of the trip!

Write me back if you have any other questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
