    Doug, please help with itinerary! (Love the panel! Read every day!) Myself, DH, DS (9) and DD (1) staying at WL July 17th-24th. Which parks which days? Trying to avoid crowds-have park hopper. Daughter will need a break in afternoon. Thanks!!

    Amy,

    Glad to assist!

    While I say that with younger kids you don't really need a park hopper, the nice thing for you is that you are going back to the resort most afternoons anyway, so going to two different parks in a day doesn't really add any wasted transportation time to your schedule. That being said, I am not going to waste your time chasing evening extra magic hours, as you won't be able to take advantage of them with a 1 year old, and going elsewhere should reduce the crowd issue for your. Here is what I would do;

    July 17 - Arrival day. Pool time and then kick things off right with a fun dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe
    July 18 - Magic Kingdom (all day)
    July 19 - Epcot (AM) / Hollywood Studios (PM)
    July 20 - Hollywood Studios (AM) / Downtown Disney or a water park (PM)
    July 21 - Magic Kingdom (all day)
    July 22 - Animal Kingdom (AM) / Hollywood Studios (PM)
    July 23 - Magic Kingdom (AM) / Epcot (PM)
    July 24 - Departure day

    Let me know if this works for you, or if you did have time for the parks on the 17th or 24th.

    Have a magical vacation!
